
Wilfred Wong graduated from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He formed an experimental art group HerStory Polygon with young artists at 2011. The works include documentary theatre Menstruation Twitters, In Search of The ReXXlution Scene(s), Panorama of Gluttony of The Last Rendezvous presented by On&On Theatre Workshop, Seven Jewish Children (play reading on the street), Time with Antonin Artaud and collaborative performance with Muhosha (Jupan Fukuoka) Ohitorisama. In 2012, he was invited to host workshop of the theatre exchange programme by National Theatre of Scotland.
Wilfred is also an actor. He recently participated in 1967 by Pants Production, Love and Information by On&On Theatre Workshop, Ten Utterances from Dreams by Alice Theatre Laboratory and Imagination Boom by E-side Dance Company. He has also been involved in multimedia video creation. Intending to research the aesthetics of combining interactive multimedia and theatre, Wilfred and friends set up a multimedia creation unit, The Fourth Color. The works include Red Poppies by Hong Kong Dance Company, M-cident by DanceArt (which was awarded Hong Kong Dance Alliance Dance Award-Outstanding Dance Production), illusion-art-scape by DanceARt, ‘Daylight concert on the back of the moon’ by local indie band Killersoap. He was also involved in commercial video production, cooperating brands including Chanel, Jack Wills and Khalil Fong.
